Senior Accountant

Location: Lafayette, Colorado (Hybrid; 3 days in office)
Pay Range: $75,000 – $85,000

This Senior Accountant will play a critical role in strengthening day-to-day accounting operations while improving processes, documentation, and internal controls. You’ll support leadership by ensuring the accuracy of financial data and helping create scalable systems that support growth.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Senior Accountant with strong technical skills in Excel and a deep understanding of full-cycle accounting functions.

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Oversee vendor management, reimbursements, and 1099 preparation

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Conduct account audits and support accounting clean-up initiatives

• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvements

• Build and maintain Excel reports using pivot tables and advanced formulas

• Strengthen documentation, controls, and cross-functional communication

This Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone who enjoys both tactical execution and strategic improvement.

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong background in AP, AR, reconciliations, reimbursements, and 1099 processing

• Experience with accounting cleanup and internal process improvement

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)

• Strong understanding of internal controls and audit preparation

• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
