Interim Controller; Ekos

Duration: 3-6 Months (potential of extension and/or conversion)

We are actively working with an amazing company/brand in the food & beverage industry is looking to hire an Interim Controller to help lead the accounting team during a period of growth and transition. The Interim Controller will be responsible for a variety of general accounting functions including balance sheet ownership for month-end close and revenue accounting, as well as managing a team of four accountants.

The ideal candidate has experience in a controls-based environment and in-depth GAAP experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in a controls-based environment with a month-end close process of 10 days or less
• Experience in a retail/wholesale environment with inventory and point-of-sale systems
• Demonstrated ownership of month-end close, team leadership/management, and monthly reporting
• Experience with Ekos (craft beverage software)
• Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and Lookups

• Public accounting experience
• CPA
• Experience with Inventory, Joint Venture or multi-entity accounting
• Experience with Quick Books Online (QBO)
• Experience in the manufacturing, food & beverage, and/or hospitality/restaurant industry
