Job Overview
Dawson School, a K-12 independent school located just east of Boulder, is seeking Athletic Coaches for a variety of sports during the 2025–26 school year.
Start Date:
August 1, 2025 (varies by sport). The role of our coaching staff is to motivate student‑athletes by enhancing individual and team performance through effective training sessions, skill development, and positive mentorship. Dawson fosters an engaged, collaborative school community committed to the healthy development and education of all students.

Coaching Positions Available- Assistant Volleyball Coach – August 10, 2026 to November 1, 2026
- Assistant Basketball Coach – November 16, 2026 to March 6, 2026
Middle School: 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Occasional Saturday practices or games may be required.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
- A strong desire to mentor and work with middle and high school students
- Ability to collaborate with the athletic department and school staff
- Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of the sport
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
These are temporary, stipend-based positions.
Stipend range: $1,500 to $4,000, commensurate with experience.
These positions are not benefits‑eligible.
