Job Summary

Seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer / Controls Engineer to support manufacturing automation, equipment connectivity, data integration, and Industry 4.0 initiatives in a regulated clean-room manufacturing environment. The role involves connecting PLC and non-PLC equipment to the Ignition platform and databases, enabling real‑time data collection, OEE reporting, equipment monitoring, and Power BI dashboards.

Required Skills
  • Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming and integration
  • SCADA, IIoT, Digital Factory, Industry 4.0 concepts
  • Power BI dashboard development, publishing, maintenance, and scheduled refresh
  • SQL and database integration
  • Software design, development, verification, validation, and testing
  • Manufacturing data analytics, OEE, KPI reporting, SPC
  • Troubleshooting equipment communication and data flow issues
  • Embedded systems experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

  • Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience

Responsibilities
  • Integrate manufacturing equipment with industrial data platforms and databases.
  • Develop and maintain data communication architectures.
  • Support OEE, equipment performance, and operational dashboards.
  • Build and maintain Power BI reports and automated reporting solutions.
  • Perform software verification, validation, testing, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to implement Smart Factory solutions.
  • Ensure accurate, reliable, and accessible manufacturing data for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
