• The ability to create prototypes and perform rapid prototyping techniques using various tools and methods like 3D printing, CNC machining, and hand fabrication techniques is necessary.
• Experience with mechanical testing methods and equipment to evaluate the performance and reliability of medical hardware prototypes, as well as an understanding of validation protocols and procedures, is required.
• Candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and solve mechanical problems that may arise.
• Strong documentation skills are necessary to maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and project progress, along with familiarity with document control processes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working within multidisciplinary teams and conveying ideas, discussing designs, and reporting findings.
• Precision and attention to detail are critical, along with adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Exposure to CAD software (such as Solid Works, AutoCAD) for designing and drafting mechanical components and assemblies, as well as other engineering tools like FEA software
