APM, Project Managers (PM I/II, Senior PM) – WIND ENERGY TEAM: MUST HAVE SELF-PERFORM experience
Location:
Remote w/100% TRAVEL: and office locations include: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL, Seattle, WA, and Portland, Washington, D.C.)
100% travel (TX, NM, AZ, CA, CO, Midwest, etc.)
Rotation: ~3 weeks onsite / 5 days off
Per diem + travel allowance
JOB SUMMARYThis person will lead projects with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment. This role involves managing project quality, timeliness, and safety, mentoring the project team, and developing strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication skills.
The Wind Energy team is interested in candidates coming out of PM positions within oil and gas.
- 5–15+ years construction PM experience
- GC/EPC background preferred
- Large-scale project experience ($100M+) (Wind or Oil and Gas)
- Self-perform experience required (50%+ target)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Preference for candidates with experience in one or more of the following: commercial construction, renewable energy project development, EPC contracting, or emerging technologies
- Manage overall financial health of projects
- Support and lead EPC contract negotiations, including technical exhibits and project schedules
- Manage overall financial health of projects

- Lead vendor procurement and bid/award phase for major subs and suppliers
- Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections
- Allocate project estimate into financial system, determine cost codes, approve invoices
- Provide financials and billings to accounting, create monthly owner billings
- Manage subcontracts and suppliers, oversee budget and selections of trade partners
- Handle billings, contract management, and change orders
- Manage and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, approve timecards, provide feedback
