USA Rugby Finance Intern – Summer Program 2026/2027

USA Rugby is delighted to offer a Finance Intern Summer Program. The internship focuses on project‑based tasks that support the financial operations of the organization.

• Assist with data entry, processing accounts payable and receivable, and coding expenses.
• Support financial reporting and budget analysis, including Quick Books accounting tasks.
• Research, report on, and implement workflow‑efficiency systems.
• Review expense reports for required receipts, approvals, and coding.
• Book invoices, credit‑card charges, and other payables; create new vendor and customer profiles.
• Maintain filing systems and assist with monthly account statement reconciliations.
• Handle direct billing applications, state tax‑exemption certificates, and credit applications.
• Assist departments and vendors with coding questions and payment‑status requests.

• Current enrollment in a college or university and eligibility to receive college credit.
• Willingness to work in or relocate to Lafayette, CO.
• Prior accounting or finance experience is preferred.
• Rugby experience is a plus.

• Experience working in a finance department.
• Work with a non‑profit organization.
• Work within an Olympic sport organization.
• Develop basic experience with Quick Books accounting system.
• Familiarity with coding and processing of payables and receivables.
• Exposure to financial reporting and budget analysis.

Duration: Full time – Mid May through August
