  • If you have more than three years of experience as a CT Technologist, please refer to the additional qualification details outlined below for a Level II Technologist.

This PRN opportunity is ideal for Radiology Technologists seeking flexibility, supplemental income, and meaningful work within a supportive healthcare system.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job.
  • Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure production of quality images.
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
  • Perform exams per department protocol.
  • Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary anatomical structures are captured.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff.
  • Complete studies within acceptable time limitations per department expectations without compromising patient care or the quality of the examination.
  • Provide appropriate patient education, ensure patient comfort, and address patient and/or family concerns.
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in CT technology, techniques, and protocols by participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Assist and instruct students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
Level I Technologist

Minimum Qualifications
  • ARRT (R) Upon Hire, Required
  • Certified Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) Preferred
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, Required
  • Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Required
  • IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
  • For caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred
  • Specific facility‑based certification may also be required for this role. If this applies, each facility will define and manage compliance
  • 1‑2 years Work Experience CT Experience in a hospital setting, Preferred
Level II Technologist

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current ARRT (R) (CT) registration.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire (with prior approval).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety.

Hourly Rate

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate depends on experience.

  • $35.25 - $54.39
