This PRN opportunity is ideal for Technologists seeking flexibility, supplemental income, and meaningful work within a supportive healthcare system.
Essential Functions- Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
- Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles and physics of magnetic resonance imaging.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
- Receive patients, explain method of examination, position patient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent when indicated.
- Independently perform and complete routine examinations.
- Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency.
- Actively participate in quality initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, patient care and workflow efficiencies.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification or ARRT(R) certification with at least 1 year full-time experience in MRI
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required

CompensationThe hourly range for this position is $38.77 - $59.82. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
