Role Overview

This position focuses on providing patient-centered care, developing strong relationships, and understanding member/patient needs. It supports physicians and healthcare teams by performing routine and specialized nursing procedures, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring safety and infection control. The role includes patient education, assisting in examinations and procedures, documenting medical information, and maintaining supplies. The nurse demonstrates quality, safety, and service excellence in all interactions, adhering to scope of practice and organizational policies.

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure as a Practical Nurse in Colorado.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Practical Nurse license and BLS certification required; IV therapy certification and experience with diverse patient populations preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work within a team.

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with policies, including medication administration and infection control.
• Support healthcare providers in patient care, including rooming patients and facilitating procedures.
• Monitor and report patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and document care accurately.
• Educate patients on health management and post-care instructions.
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and minor surgeries, and manage medical supplies.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and service-oriented environment, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
