Founded as Boulder Hospice in 1976, TRU Community Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Boulder, Denver, and surrounding counties. With a mission to affirm life at every step of the journey with illness and loss, TRU provides a continuum of care through TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, TRU Grief Services, and Landmark Memory Care.
Location:
In the community, seeing patients in their homes. Either in Boulder/Lafayette, or Longmont/Dacono areas.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 8am to 4:30pm Pay: $23.29 to $25.40 per hour
Our ideal candidate enjoys working with the elderly and is flexible to providing care for patients throughout Boulder, Weld and Jefferson Counties. The CNA assists participants and/or supervises with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, and toileting) as assigned in a variety of settings including the Day Center, homes, nursing facilities, and assisted livings.
Education and Qualifications- Must possess a current Colorado CNA license
- 1+ years of experience working as a CNA
- Experience working with the frail or elderly population
- Experience working with individuals with mental health needs
- Must successfully pass agency required background checks and drug screening
