** Position**
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
** Purpose of Coverage**Addressing a staffing shortage in a high-acuity urgent care setting.
** Coverage Duration**Immediate start for an initial term of 3 months.
** Work Environment**Clinical setting.
** Work Schedule**Variable weekly shifts from Monday to Friday (8 AM - 6:30 PM; 9:30 AM - 8 PM; 11 AM - 10 PM) and weekends (8 AM - 6:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 7 PM). Weekend availability is mandatory.
** Key Responsibilities**- Deliver urgent care services for all age groups.
- Conduct procedures, including suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, and toenail removal.
- Handle a diverse caseload typical of urgent care.
- Emergency Room (ER) experience is essential, with a preference for candidates possessing high-acuity urgent care experience.
- Expected patient acuity levels range from ESI 3 to 5.

** Patient Volume**Anticipated patient flow of approximately 3 patients per hour.
** Shift Composition**Each shift will include an LPN, RNs, and occasionally MAs, along with the support of 2 Emergency Medicine physicians on-site daily.
** Electronic Medical Record System**EPIC.
** Credentialing Timeline**Approximately 60 days from application submission.
** Certification Requirements**- Must be Board Certified.
- Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.
Active Colorado state licensure is mandatory.
