American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

• Med Surg 1 unit within a hospital setting
• 3x 12-hour night shifts per week )
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic for charting

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certification required as appropriate for unit or service
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Perform health teaching and counseling, and provide supportive and restorative therapy
• Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with drug screen completion expected within 24 hours of commitment
