• Evaluate health status through the collection and assessment of health data.
• Analyze reports and records data.
• Use data to identify health care problems and create a plan.

• Evaluate emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide health teaching and health counseling to patients and/or their families.
