Quality Manager
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead all quality assurance and inspection activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Quality Control team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee product inspections, testing programs, and quality documentation.
- Manage non-conformance reporting (NCR) processes, corrective actions, and root cause investigations.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Administer quality programs including welding certifications, pressure vessel quality requirements, and calibration systems.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Manage departmental budgets, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all workplace safety requirements.
- 7+ years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
- Previous leadership experience managing quality teams.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) certification.
- Strong understanding of ASME standards, quality systems, inspections, and corrective action processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
