Job Location: Lafayette, Colorado (Fully onsite)
Type: W2 contract
Duration: 6 months
Job Description: This job entails working on embedded software development for new patient monitors under development. You will be collaborating with the local software architect and a remote team of software developers and test engineers in our Hyderabad, India office. Your daily tasks will involve investigating/reproducing issues, fixing bugs, performing discovery for new feature development, and participating in scrum and design activities.

A Day in the Life: This position is responsible for the implementation of software features for new and existing patient monitoring products. You will collaborate with cross‑discipline team members in test, systems, and infrastructure to accomplish project goals. You will collaborate with team members to solve critical problems to meet our user needs and help improve and save lives of patients.
You will research new technologies to learn how to apply them to solve problems.
- Build software to implement new features or make changes to existing features.
- Collaborate with team members on feature grooming, peer reviews, and testing.
- Write technical documentation to share knowledge about the software we build.
- Write clean, well‑documented, high‑quality code.
- Implement unit tests for execution in CI.
- Investigate and resolve issues in the existing code.
- Attend and contribute to standup, planning, and retrospective meetings.
- Be a team player with a willingness to learn and challenge yourself.
- Must be willing to learn and work with new technologies appropriate to the problem being solved.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technically related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with developing C# applications.
- Experience with developing user interfaces using WPF.
- Effective communication both verbally and in written form.
- Unit testing experience.
- Experience with software development in an Agile environment.
- Working knowledge of developing software for medical devices/products.
- Experience with cybersecurity and secure coding practices.
- Experience building IEC 62304 compliant software.
