Westbound & Down has expanded and is now looking to hire a Truck Driver and Warehouse Manager. This job will be mainly driving in between our taproom and warehouse locations in Lafayette, Longmont, Denver, and Idaho Springs. Our central warehouse location is currently in Louisville but will be transitioning to a Longmont location.

We are hiring for a lead Truck Driver and Warehouse Manager with experience and a clean driving record, who is comfortable driving a 16-ft or a 20ft box truck and has experience driving a forklift. These applicants must be detail oriented, and committed to helping to create a safe work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dry goods organization and inventory
• Beer cooler organization and inventory
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Driving and loading finished beer to all of our front range taproom locations
• Learn and use our inventory software (EKOS) to invoice our taprooms and distributers
• Using FIFO (First in first out) practices to maintain beer freshness
• Communicate with Head of Operations and Director of Sales daily

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Truck/delivery driver
• High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Commitment to being a part of a team and working for larger goals
• Strong organizational, communication, and record keeping skills
• Strong time management skills, an attention to details required, and strength in multi-tasking
• Clean driving record and ability to drive between locations
• Self-motivated, and ability to often work unsupervised
• Good people skills and professional demeanor
• Physical strength, flexibility and stamina required – must be able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly
• Reliable car or transportation is a must

Compensation will depend on skill level and experience but this job has a hourly pay rate in the range of $22 to $28 with benefits including healthcare and paid time off.
