You’ll guide large-scale tooling and equipment initiatives from concept through qualification, mentor cross-functional teams, and help define the future of our tooling excellence.## ## Position Principal Tooling Engineer## ## Location

** Project Leadership and Management*
* · Drive and manage the execution of tooling/equipment projects
· Develop and manage gate closure in the gated management process
· Ensure the delivery of project deliverables, including larger scopes
** Process Development and Compliance:*
* · Develop and manage specifications.
· Lead and manage design review processes.
· Manage and ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
** Part Design and Development Guidance:*
* · Guide and direct part design and development efforts
· Develop and manage tool/equipment qualification efforts
** Cross-Functional Team Leadership:*
* · Lead, guide, and participate in cross-functional teams
** Knowledge Base Contribution and Mentorship:*
* · Contribute, mentor, and provide training for the team's development## What You'll Bring to Our Team
*
* Minimum Qualifications:

*
* · 7+ years of relevant experience, including experience in GE Appliances.
· Bachelor's degree
** OR
* * tooling certification, with a hands-on approach.
· Lean Leader certification;
Six Sigma/Lean experience
· Certified instructor in RJG (RJG Inc.) processes.
· Proficient in applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to drawing review.
· Experienced and hands-on expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for part and mold design.
· Proficiency in CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering).
· Highly capable in MS Office applications##
