We are looking for a Principal Tooling Engineer to lead complex projects and drive measurable results. This high‑visibility role balances technical depth with leadership influence, guiding large‑scale tooling and equipment initiatives from concept through qualification, mentoring cross‑functional teams, and shaping the future of our tooling excellence.

How you’ll create possibilities Project Leadership and Management- Drive and manage the execution of tooling/equipment projects
- Develop and manage gate closure in the gated management process
- Ensure the delivery of project deliverables, including larger scopes
- Develop and manage specifications.
- Lead and manage design review processes.
- Manage and ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
- Guide and direct part design and development efforts
- Develop and manage tool/equipment qualification efforts
- Lead, guide, and participate in cross‑functional teams
- Contribute, mentor, and provide training for the team’s development
- 7+ years of relevant experience in professional level engineering tooling, mold engineering, plastics manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing operations, with a track record of leading technical problem‑solving and process improvement initiatives in a high‑volume production environment
- Bachelor’s degree or tooling certification, with a hands‑on approach
- Lean Leader certification;
Six Sigma/Lean experience - Certified instructor in RJG (RJG Inc.) processes
- Proficient in applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to drawing review
- Experienced and hands‑on expertise in CAD (Computer‑Aided Design) for part and mold design
- Proficiency in CAE (Computer‑Aided Engineering)
- Highly capable in MS Office applications
