Health Unit Coordinator

Franciscan Health - 1701 South Creasy Lane - Responsibilities:
Respond to call lights and direct inquiries to appropriate party; activate alerts and monitor tube system where applicable.;
Greet and assist patients, visitors, physicians, students, and staff; coordinate activities to act as a first line customer service advocate.;
Facilitate communication of patient information within and between units and departments; report pertinent information timely and accurately.;
Answer multi-line telephones and route calls; maintain professional telephone etiquette.;
Provide unit support by assisting with bed assignments and maintaining accurate patient locations in Epic.
