Elementary Teacher’s Aide – (Part-Time)

The Lafayette Catholic School System is looking for a Teacher’s Aide to assist with Elementary Students.
DutiesThe teacher’s aide will work under the teacher's supervision to help students and provide adult supervision. Teacher's aides must be patient when working with children, be good communicators, and be willing to follow the teacher's direction.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree or 60+ college credit hours. Preferred:
Coursework in elementary education. - Possess Respect & ability to uphold Catholic School Teachings.
- Able to pass and maintain Diocesan child safety protocols.
- Knowledge of high-ability program design in a K-6 setting is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work.
- Ability to build parent and student relationships.
- Ability to collaborate inside and outside of department.
- Self-motivated learner.
- Possesses a professionally calm and motivationally intense demeanor.
- Believes in planning and preparation while also being a progressive thinker.
- Cares about his/her character, co-workers, and students.
- Reflects a balanced quality lifestyle (spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally), which is evidenced by personal habits.
- Functions at a high capacity in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibits consistency in decision-making.
