Co-op – Mechanical Engineering

Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in an engineering program and available for an alternating rotating semester schedule. Masters level students will not be considered. This position starts August 2026 and is paid; housing assistance is not offered. Candidates local to Lafayette, IN are preferred.

• Support the development of advanced AI Laser and IV Vision System
• Support the development of Automation Systems for production
• Utilize advanced Data Analytics like Power Query, MS Power BI, MS Fabric for our mTAMs (Mechanical Tooling Asset Management System)
• Review and storage of CAD tooling models for new molds
• Project status verification and manufacturer process verification
• Increase technical skills such as CNC Machining, Destructive testing, Cycle Testing, Soldering of through‑hole and SM components
• eTAMS (electrical tools) data entry, review, and analysis

• Undergraduate student working towards a Bachelors degree in Engineering
