Co‑op Position Overview

Co‑op position for undergraduate engineering students at Landis+Gyr located in Lafayette, Indiana. The role focuses on the development of advanced AI laser and IV vision systems within the mTAMs framework.

• Support the development of advanced AI laser and IV vision system.
• Support the development of automation systems for production.
• Analyze production processes for robotics integration to reduce takt time.
• Utilize advanced data analytics (Power Query, MS Power BI, MS Fabric) for mTAMs.
• Review and store CAD tooling models for new molds.
• Project status verification and manufacturer process verification.
• Increase technical skills such as CNC machining, destructive testing, cycle testing, soldering of through‑hole and surface‑mount components.
• eTAMS (electrical tools) data entry, review, and analysis.

Applicants must be undergraduate students working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and available for alternating rotating semesters, starting August 2026. Expected graduation date should be 2028 or later to allow adequate time for the 3 working semesters alternating with 3 school semesters. This is a paid position but housing assistance is not provided; candidates local to the Lafayette, IN area are preferred.
