Chemical Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Chemical Quality Engineer in Lafayette. In this role you will have quality responsibility over the production function.

• Responsibility for Laboratory.
• Guarantees the quality of Raw materials (elastomers, textile and metallic coatings, etc.).
• Guarantees the quality of materials (primary materials, mixes, tissues, elastomers, textile and coatings).

Responsibilities:

• The conformity of the products is ensured throughout the manufacturing process, allowing the release of the products.
• The identified risks are brought under control and the effectiveness of security implemented is demonstrated
• The risks of customer dissatisfaction are anticipated in the planning process and quality control contributes to the qualification of products, processes and methods.
• In the domain, all claims, non-conformities and drifts in performance are investigated with the needed responsiveness and efficiency.
• Causes of anomalies and non-performance are capitalized at the activity level.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Production, Chemistry, etc.)
• Experience 2-5 years in Quality Engineering / Analysis
• Good knowledge of ISO
  9001, IATF / TS 16949
• Preferable skills:
  Problem-solving, Analytical, Communication
