Position's Contributions to Work Group:
Member of the 3500 Diesel and DGB(Dynamic Gas Blending) Platform Engineering team. The team is responsible for 3500 Machine, Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Loco current product and factory support for all 3500 Diesel and DGB.

On the 3500 Platform Engineering team you will learn a lot about the overall engine and through supporting the factory will learn a lot about the manufacturing process as well.

Typical Day or Week in the Role Typical task breakdown:
Daily support of factory requests to engineering, managing completion of various continuous improvement efforts, participation on various teams. Interaction with team:
Work in team environment with ability to work independently(sometimes) on tasks and assignments.

Team Structure:
Works in a team of about 10-12 engineers and technologists. Team is loosely split by factory support and engine platform current product engineering maintenance. There is some overlap.

Work environment:
Primarily office, with frequent visits to factory floor
