The Electrical Engineerwillsupportextrusionmanufacturingoperations byimproving electrical and controlsystemreliability, leading capital projects,driving safety and sustainability initiatives, and providing hands-on technicalsupportin a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment. This roleisresponsibleformaintainingandenhancingelectrical,automation, and controlsystemsthatare critical toplantoperations and equipment performance.
Supportandimprove electrical, controls, and automation systemsforextrusion production equipment.
- Lead electricalequipmentupgrades, controlsystemmodernizations,installations, and facility expansionprojects.
- Developandmaintainpreventive and predictivemaintenance strategiesforelectricalassets.
- Manage CAPEXbudgets, project schedules, and implementationactivities.
- Coordinate work withmaintenancepersonnel, contractors, OEMs, and vendors.
- Troubleshootelectrical,PLC, HMI, VFD, servomotion control, and instrumentation issues.
- Drivecontinuousimprovement initiatives focused onsafety, quality, reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate withproduction, maintenance, quality, and safety teams toachieve operationalgoals.
- Supportelectricalsystemdesign, documentation, and standardsdevelopment.
- Ensurecompliancewith applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering orarelatedengineeringdiscipline.
3+ years of manufacturing,industrial, orcontrolsengineering experience.
Strong knowledgeofindustrialpowersystems, motor controls,PLCs, and automation equipment.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, andindustrialnetworks.
Abilitytoreadandinterpretelectricalschematics, wiring diagrams,and control drawings.
Experiencemanagingcapitalprojects from concept through commissioning.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving,communication, andleadershipskills.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing, aluminum extrusion,metals manufacturing, orother heavyindustrialenvironments preferred.
