Mechanical Engineer

Pay: $35 - $38 an hr
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer
to join a collaborative engineering team supporting the design, development, and continuous improvement of complex engine components. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers looking to gain hands-on experience working with product design, CAD modeling, supplier collaboration, and customer-focused engineering solutions.
- Support component design engineers with key project execution activities
- Create, detail, and release engineering prints and drawings
- Develop component models using Creo and Teamcenter
- Support new product development through APQP collaboration with suppliers
- Investigate product issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions
- Conduct tolerance stack-ups, deviation investigations, and parts inspections
- Research design proposals and technical specifications to determine project feasibility
- Provide project status updates and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 0-4 years of engineering experience (internships accepted, minimum 1 year preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
- Experience with CAD software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge of Creo and Teamcenter
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Understanding of gas and/or diesel engine operation
- Data analysis experience
- Troubleshooting experience with mechanical systems
- Experience collaborating with global teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Gain exposure to product development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with engineering leadership and experienced design teams
- Contribute directly to customer-focused product enhancements
- Develop valuable skills in design, manufacturing, supplier collaboration, and problem-solving
