Job Summary: Seeking an experienced ABB Robotic Engineer to support robotic automation, programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize ABB industrial robots using Robot Studio.
- Support robotic systems across assembly, test, and paint operations.
- Integrate robots with PLCs, tooling, sensors, and peripheral equipment.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent corrective solutions.
- Optimize robot configurations, cabling, harnesses, and end-of-arm tooling.
- Collaborate with PLC/Controls, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
- Support commissioning, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
- 5+ years of robotics/automation experience.
- Strong hands-on ABB robot programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency with ABB Robot Studio.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC integration.
- Manufacturing/shop-floor experience.
- Engineering or related technical degree.
- Robotic welding, material handling, assembly, or machine tending.
- Robot commissioning and program optimization.
- Vision-guided robotics and industrial networking.
- Lean/Six Sigma and OEE improvement experience.
