Patient Care Coodinator

Large managed care company is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator with excellent communication skills to worka short-term, contract position.

CONTRACT DATES: ASAP - 4/30/26

HOURS: M-F, 6am-2pm

• Processes check-in via Epic
• Collects appropriate fees, co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance amounts
• Provides assistance to patients so that the patient can be processed quickly and efficiently
• Answers questions and provides assistance to patients either directly or by referring them to the appropriate person/department
• Assists with filling out forms

• High school/GED or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer-facing role within a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Experience in patient check-in/check-out processes, including collecting co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance amounts.
• Strong understanding of insurance benefits and patient financial responsibility, including the ability to explain professional vs. facility components of charges.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, computer proficiency, both verbal and written communication skills, data entry accurately inputting information into EMR
