Western Indiana Regions:
Lafayette, Rensselaer & Crawfordsville

WHAT WE NEED

* A team-oriented CST who is flexible, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care across assigned regional locations

* Minimum of 1 year of recent experience

* Recent experience using EPIC preferred

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

* Supportive onboarding and monthly education to ensure success in your assignments

* Arrange instrument trays, prepare sterile drapes and solutions, and help the surgical team put on caps, gowns, and gloves.

* Assist with prep of patients as needed.

* Pass instruments to surgeons and surgical assistants.

* May assist with sponge, needle, and other supply counts to track materials used in surgery.

* May operate suction, diagnostic, and sterilizing equipment, and package specimens to take for laboratory analysis.

* Clinic responsibilities may include rooming patients, taking vitals, orders, and routing phone calls

QUALIFICATIONS

* Required High School Diploma/GED

* 1 year Surgery Preferred

* Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

* Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
