Acute care experience in Medical Surgical, Emergency Room, and Intensive Care Unit
Good time management skills, especially during heavy workloads
Experience managing Bipaps, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units
Proficiency in assisting with intubations, bedside bronchoscopy, and EMR charting

Description:

This role involves working within a dynamic unit.
The unit houses a total of 160 beds and has a staff of 28.
The day shift staff consists of a minimum of 5-6, while night shift staff comprises a minimum of 4-4.5.
Patient ratios follow a specific RVU system, with a standard of 65 RVUs.
Equipment utilized includes vents, Bipap machines, and High-Flow Nasal Cannula devices.
Candidates should have experience in critical care, medical surgical, and emergency settings.
Ideal candidates are willing to contribute during high patient load and high acuity situations.
A self-motivated and independent personality is preferred.
The dress code includes pewter gray scrubs.
The unit provides a supportive and cohesive family-like environment among experienced staff.
There is potential for working with motivated and progressive physicians.
New equipment and technology may be part of the experience.
This position is for contractor replacement in a competitive market.
