Electrical Test Engineer

Job Summary

This role focuses on LPSD's Field Data Acquisition Hardware Kit builds. The incumbent's scope will include part procurement, Kit assembly per specification, maintaining inventory, and global shipment to CAT assets. Also processing field kits returns for rebuilds.

• Data Acquisition Hardware builds and configuration.
  • Assembling kits, troubleshooting, cleaning and refurbishing field returns, logging and documenting pertinent unit information for storage.
  • Validating built kits for required performance and ensuring operation meets specifications.
  • Shipping units to sites globally for data collection.
• The data logger requires learning how to build configuration files to be installed and checked prior to shipment.
• Maintaining Lab inventory of all new and returned kits with thorough process documentation.

• Hands‑on electrical and tools experience (wiring, soldering, multimeter usage, and drills).
• Able to translate electrical schematics to wiring harness and complete kit builds.
• Excellent communication, organization, and ability to work well individually and on teams.

• 5 years experience required.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a pay rate of $46.60/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
