Role Definition

Performs analysis to identify and develop business improvement opportunities and to evaluate return on investment (ROI) of the opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Using data analytics and SQL to create tools and manipulate data to support supply chain decision making.
  • Managing projects through cross functional partners and teams to gain consensus and execute project completion.
  • Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets.
  • Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
  • Work cross‑functionally with project owners to identify and assess potential supply chain and logistics impacts associated with NCI initiatives.
  • Proactively engaging appropriate process partners and cross‑functional stakeholders when supply chain or logistics risks are identified, independently facilitating problem‑solving efforts to develop and align on effective solutions.
  • Anticipating and escalating supply chain and logistics impacts early to ensure timely mitigation, enable leadership awareness and support, and minimize downstream risk to project execution.
Degree and Experience Requirement
  • Degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Working experience in SQL
  • Extensive Power BI and Excel
  • Project Management experience

Decision Making and Critical Thinking
:
Working knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Logistics Management
:
Working knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.

Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP):
Working knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.

Process Improvement
:
Working knowledge, understanding, and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintain focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.

Supplier Management - MFG
:
Working knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.

Project Management
:
Working knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Supply Chain Management - MFG
:
Working knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree – Supply Chain
  • Familiar with MRP

  • This position is located in Lafayette, IN
  • Travel: 25% domestic
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

  • Requires working onsite five days a week.
Pay Range

Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $
