Shipping & Receiving Manager; Manufacturing

Global Manufacturing Company manufactures Automotive Electronic Modules in Central Indiana (Indianapolis suburbs). They need a Shipping and Receiving manager to join their expanding team.

Position requires planning and organizing and managing a team of 7 people responsible for inbound and outbound shipments i.e. shipping and receiving of materials. Work with MRP / WMS (warehouse management system module) to organize and deliver production schedules and movement of inventory.

• 5 or more years experience as shipping and receiving supervisor in Manufacturing OR Warehouse environment.
• Must have experience in ONE or more of the following: shipping manager OR receiving manager OR inbound supervisor OR outbound supervisor
• Experience working with MRP systems or WMS systems, may require entering information on Customer & Supplier Portals and inventory of materials.
• Experience supervising people and teams.
• Communicate effectively, good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• College Education is not required but will consider equivalent experience.

Position located North of Indianapolis, near the Lafayette area

Candidates with backgrounds in Warehouse, Inventory Dock Supervisor, Shipping Manager, Shipping and Receiving Manager, Receiving Supervisor, Inbound Supervisor, Outbound Supervisor, Shipping Supervisor, Inbound logistics, Outbound Logistics, Warehouse Management, Employee Management, Supervisor, Team Lead, Team Leader, Inbound Manager, or Receiving Supervisor may have relevant experience for this position.
