We are looking for a Director of Operations to provide leadership and direction for our transportation operations. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will lead fixed-route and demand-response service; develop and support a strong operations leadership team; oversee staffing, scheduling, budget, performance, and resource decisions; and collaborate across the organization to strengthen service delivery. You will also serve as a trusted operational partner to the CEO and Board, bringing insight, recommendations, and practical solutions that advance City Bus’s mission.

Education, Licensing, and Certification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience may be considered.

At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in transit or transportation operations, including significant leadership and supervisory responsibility. Public transit experience is strongly preferred.

Must meet agency standards for motor vehicle licensing, drug screening, criminal background clearance, and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
