CNC Rework Machinist Responsibilities
:

• Set up and operate CNC/Manual mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC/Manual programs using G-code and CAM software
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Load, edit, and run CNC programs as required
• Select tooling and ensure correct machine setup, and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues
• Follow quality standards, interpret and use MOPs, and safety procedures
• Maintain machines and keep the work area clean and organized
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

CNC Rework Machinist Qualifications
:

• 3+ years of CNC and manual machining experience, including setup and programming
• Strong understanding of G-code and CAM software
• Solid knowledge of machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols
• Experience using precision measuring tools for quality inspection
• Strong problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Effective time management skills and ability to work with all shifts and support personnel
