QG & PDI Assembly Auditor – 3rd Shift

Caterpillar - Build What Matters

• This position encompasses the audit of all engines during various stages of the build process.
• Audit engines for compliance to the appropriate documentation.
• Accurately record all engine non-conformances in the AQE system and communicate found engine non-conformances to the appropriate person for repair.
• Work closely with assembly personnel, support groups, and assembly management to meet product quality goals and objectives.
• Assist in quality functions outside of the audit process as needed.
• Rotate through various quality gates in the assembly areas and train in multiple areas.

• Learning Caterpillar Systems and using them appropriately (MESA, AQE, etc.).
• Computer skills – Microsoft Teams, Email.
• Strong customer focus, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Strong quality mindset to protect our customers.
• Inspect engines using the provided enhanced checklist to stop defects from moving forward.
• Ability to be flexible within our facility.

• Basic computer skills

• Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
• Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to bend and twist at the waist and be able to squat.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed.
• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
• Standing and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks.

• Position is for 3rd shift – 10:30pm to 6:30am.
• Relocation assistance is NOT offered for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected applicant.
• 13 days / 104 hours of paid Personal Time Off (PTO) - (Prorated based upon start date).
• 11 Paid holidays.
• 40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime.
• Climate controlled work environment – most areas.
• Clean/safe work environment.

Summary Pay Range: $22.65 - $29.45
