Machine Operator - Day Shift

We are hiring a Machine Operator with CNC/Press Brake experience, based in Lafayette, IN. Responsibilities include setting up and operating press brake, measuring, and inspecting parts.

• Set up parameters of press brake through the touch screen on the equipment to adjust tonnage, angle, speed, and number of bends on a work piece.
• Produce parts in the proper quantity as identified by the production schedule.
• Determine angle of bends by utilizing protractor, tape measure, and squares to ensure that parts conform to customer specifications.
• Perform in‑process inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance.
• Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year press brake or CNC machine operation experience; or recent certification from a manufacturing or technical program.

• Day Shift Only;
  Monday–Thursday 5:30 am–4:00 pm.
