Job Description & How to Apply Below

Supply Chain Capacity Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing capacity and production reports to support manufacturing operations and supply chain decision‑making. This role focuses on evaluating capacity across multiple constrained resources—including labor, equipment, and materials—to ensure alignment with demand and production goals. The position works extensively with Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to organize, validate, and automate reporting processes, providing accurate and timely visibility into production capacity, constraints, and utilization.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Capacity Planning
  • Develop and maintain capacity models across multiple constrained resources, including labor, machinery, tooling, and material availability.
  • Analyze demand versus available capacity to identify bottlenecks, constraints, and risks to production schedules.
  • Support finite and infinite capacity planning processes, including scenario modeling and constraint‑based analysis.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and planning teams to align capacity plans with manufacturing capabilities and schedules.
  • Assist in balancing workloads across production lines, shifts, and facilities to optimize throughput.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and production planning processes with data‑driven insights.
Capacity Reporting & Automation
  • Design, build, and automate capacity reporting tools and dashboards to improve speed, accuracy, and usability.
  • Create standardized reports to track utilization, efficiency, downtime, and throughput across manufacturing operations.
  • Reduce manual reporting by implementing automated data flows, templates, and repeatable processes.
  • Consolidate data from ERP, MES, and other systems into streamlined reporting solutions.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes to enhance visibility into capacity constraints and opportunities.
Operations & Performance Analysis
  • Track and analyze key manufacturing metrics such as capacity utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle times, and production output.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure consistency across systems and reports.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and root causes of capacity limitations or production delays.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Respond to ad‑hoc reporting and analysis requests from operations and supply chain leadership.
General Data & Collaboration Responsibilities
  • Document data sources, assumptions, methodologies, and report logic.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams to understand data and reporting requirements.
  • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality of operational and business‑sensitive information.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
    • VLookup/HLookup/XLookup
    • Nested formulas
    • Pivot tables and charts
  • Experience working with large datasets and building structured reports in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning concepts and production processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorization from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
Preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing environments with multiple resource constraints (labor,…
