The Vacuum Technician is responsible for the setup, installation, monitoring and maintenance of various vacuum pumps and leak detectors on cryogenic vessels to achieve high vacuum.

• Set up vacuum pumps
• Install vacuum pumps to cryogenic vessels
• Record vacuum readings accurately and timely
• Set up and use a leak detector
• Diagnose and identify leaks on vacuum systems

• Education and experience relevant to vacuum technology
• Close attention to detail
• Proficient with vacuum reading equipment
• Experience as a Vacuum Technician
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, grinders, hand wrenches, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.)

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $33.00
