Position Summary
The Mechanic is responsible for fabrication, assembly, debug, testing and troubleshooting of all mechanical components for Diesel systems. This role requires excellent mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills. The role also requires close interaction with the manufacturing teams to ensure any issues get communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
Core Duties and Responsibilities- Ability to install mechanical parts and sheet metal assemblies using basic machine shop tools
- Ability to weld aluminum, carbon and stainless steel using MIG & TIG process
- Ability to assemble and troubleshoot 12-volt electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic mechanical systems
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Ability to read mechanical part drawings a plus
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma, plus 2-5 years of experience in similar role
- Working knowledge of data collection and statistics
- 2-5 years’ experience with commercial trailers with pony motors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Uncompromising dedication to quality

- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Teamwork oriented and focused
Pay Rate: $23.50 - $34.00
