Production Operator– Lafayette

, a division of Kirby Risk Corporation specializing in machining solutions for our customers in industrial, construction, agricultural, oil and gas, forestry, mining, power generation, and electric drive-train sectors.
What You’ll Do as a Production Operator
In this role, you’ll:
- Perform CNC machining tasks according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
- Load and unload machines, quality checks, deburrs, cleans, and packs parts to customer specifications
- Follows all KRPM procedures for operation and inspection of parts, ensuring ISO quality practices are respected and tolerances are maintained throughout the entirety of each job run
- Inspects all parts produced to meet customer quality expectations while performing milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, cleaning (all bench operations) and other processes as designated
- Detects and reports defective materials and concerns to production Supervisor for corrective action
- Performs 5S on machines and work areas as required by department management for a clean area and work center
- Maintains production pace to ensure customer demands and shipment deadlines

What to Expect in This Role
- Onsite, indoors, in a controlled temperature environment, with a variation of noise levels.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and adapt to varied work environments
- Fast-paced, utilizing different tools, equipment, and technology
- Schedules:
Monday–Thursday, 1 st Shift or Monday-Thursday, 3 rd Shift
