Travel Nurse RN Cardiac PCU – Progressive Care Unit

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a RN travel nurse for a 12‑week assignment in Lafayette, Indiana, starting August 11, 2026. The position is a 12‑hour night shift, 48 hours per week.

• Provide highly skilled nursing care in a Cardiac PCU setting.
• Perform telemetry monitoring, IV initiation, and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with post‑cardiac catheterization and post‑angiogram needs.
• Utilize BiPAP, high‑flow oxygen, and other respiratory support devices.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as required.
• Complete all charting in Cerner and adhere to facility protocols.
• Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs.

• Minimum 18 months of RN experience in cardiac or step‑down units.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS; NIH Stroke Scale preferred.
• Active, in‑state RN license required; temporary license acceptable after permanent license submitted.
• Proficiency in telemetry, IV start, cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP, high‑flow oxygen, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Experience with Level I–IV trauma, conscious sedation, and central line care.
• Preferred:
  Charge nurse experience, post‑cardiac catheterization care, and rapid‑response participation.
• Travel compliance: SSN and DOB available at submission; two supervisor references required.
• Must not be a local IN resident for the listed positions.
• Accredited university graduate (ACEN or CCNE) at time of graduation.
• Must work at least two of the three major holidays.
