Schedule:

3x12-hour night shifts (1800–0630); every other weekend required; 36 hrs/wk

Pay: $2,160–$2,326 per week (travel pay includes tax-free stipends).

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU/PCU (Cardiovascular ICU/Progressive Care Unit) position requiring at least 2 years of progressive care experience and active ACLS and NIH certifications.

• Provide nursing care in a 27‑bed Cardiac Care Unit (2S CCU) on the second floor of an inpatient hospital setting.
• Care for cardiac, post‑op cardiac, and medical ICU overflow patients.
• Maintain patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity.
• Utilize equipment including EKOS, balloon pumps, Impella, IV pumps, transvenous pacers, cardiac monitors, CRRT, and ventilators.
• Document care using Epic EMR system.
• Float to the ICU or other inpatient units as required.

• Active IN or Compact RN license.
• Current ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent progressive care experience.
• Strong cardiac rhythm knowledge; must pass a facility EKG test with a score of 90% or higher.
• U.S. Social Security Number (SSN).
• No gaps in work history >90 days within the past 12 months.

• Previous cardiac/critical care ICU experience.

• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility may be eligible for a reduced bill rate.
• 13‑week contract.
• RNs required to wear navy blue scrubs; sweatshirts and plain t-shirts are not permitted; facial piercings must be removed or covered.
• Applicants must pass an EKG assessment; two attempts are allowed.
