Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting
• Degree from an accredited nursing program

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs angioplasties, implants pacemakers, and diagnoses cardiac conditions with invasive catheterization procedures.
• Administers care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identifies blockages, assists the physician during procedures, and monitors patient status at other times.
• Administers interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures.
