American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring strong interventional and STEMI experience, EP device proficiency, and availability for an on-call rotation.

• Hospital-based Cath Lab unit
• Procedures performed include:
  Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, Rotablader, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, stents, thrombectomy, balloon angioplasty, and PCI
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (shift times vary between 6:30–17:00 and 7:30–18:00)
• On-call required: 10 shifts per month, including weekend call
• Floating may be required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Cerner charting experience required
• 13-week contract

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Strong experience with interventional procedures and STEMI management required
• Proficiency with EP devices required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• RN degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are eligible at a modified pay package
• Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break;
  Indiana residents require a 180-day break
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• No NYE shift requirement
