Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Behavioral Health

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full Time

Shift: Days, Nights. 36 hour weeks (12 hour shift 7–7:30).

Sycamore Springs Behavioral Health is part of Lifepoint Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) joining our team, you will provide essential nursing care within a 48‑bed behavioral health hospital located in the Lafayette, IN area. The hospital delivers high‑quality compassionate care for individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges, offering programs such as 24/7 crisis care and assessment, inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for adults age 18+.

• Current state LPN license or a current multistate compact license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum one year of experience in behavioral health (preferred).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or ability to obtain within one week of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
