American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel contract in Lafayette, IN, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and active IN or compact RN license.

• Hospital Emergency Department setting with 32 beds
• Patient population includes medical, injured, and mental health patients across the lifespan
• Standard patient ratio of 1:4, with higher ratios for lower-acuity patients
• Uses Level I fluid warmers and Epic EMR
• Mid-shift schedule: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM (nights), 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call or float requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Experience with patients across the lifespan required; trauma care experience preferred
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including medical, trauma, and mental health cases
• EKG testing is required as part of the hiring process; candidates are allowed 2 attempts, and must wait 30 days before reapplying if unsuccessful
• Online education modules will be assigned and must be completed prior to the first day of the assignment
• Navy scrubs required; facility dress code must be followed
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
