Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant With Palliative Care Experience

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Palliative Care experience for an Inpatient position at Franciscan Health Lafayette East campus to meet the growing demands for Palliative Care services.

Ideal candidate will have past Palliative experience, with a focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

What you can expect:

  • Optional Mon-Fri  or we can look at 4 days 10 hour days
  • Traditional full-time schedule
  • Rotating weekends and holidays for inpatient only
  • Rotating Call for weeknights and weekdays
  • Experience in palliative care or home health care preferred

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
    - Required
  • Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
    - Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association – Required

Travel is required:
Never or Rarely
