We are looking for a dynamic, organized self‑starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Quality Manager in Lafayette, IN.

Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.

• The Quality Manager oversees the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems.

• This role is located in Lafayette, IN and does not offer relocation
• This role is 1st shift
• This role is 100% on‑site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
• This role requires up to 15% domestic travel

• Supporting development of quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products.
• Leading the development and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures to achieve quality targets.
• Investigating and addressing trends with internal and external non‑conformance.
• Leading, managing and developing multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists and inspectors to assure that quality standards are met.
• Developing and reviewing reports to review with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues.

• Quality Management System (QMS):
  Knowledge of QMS functions, features, and capabilities; ability to design, implement, test, and maintain QMS to consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory compliances.
• Problem Solving:
  Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Planning and Organizing:
  Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
  Knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Experience with PowerBI and Power Apps
• Prior leadership experience
